Israeli engineers to begin testing of ‘electric road’ next month

The system works by implanting tiny piezoelectric crystals into the asphalt, which created power when driven over. The engineers claim a 1km stretch of asphalt equipped with the power-generating system would create enough electricity to power eight electric cars.

Google Offering More Space for Less Money

Google announced on their blog their new pricing for Gmail storage: 20gig's for only $5 a year.

Update: last year I paid $20 for 10gigs. Under the new pricing, $20 will get you 80gigs, so Google just went ahead and gave me the extra space!
