Yahoo Mash in Private Beta

I started playing with Yahoo Mash last night, and quite honestly felt just as underwhelmed as when I first tried Yahoo 360 a couple of years ago. It wouldn't be fair to talk about the design aspects yet since its not officially "ready" but I will say that there are already advertisments sprinkled throughout, and if they approach advertising in the same way they have in Yahoo Mail, I won't be a user.

At first glance it pretty much like most of the social network sites out there. They have modules that you can add to your page to being in your content from elsewhere, there are "walls" to write on and ways to share images and videos. The main difference that I found is that your friends can add modules and content to your profile page. That seemed pretty interesting, for about 2 minutes.
